1. Data controller
Nariman Mohammed Ali Saker is the data controller for personal data processed via Savner dig. Contact: narimanmohammedalisaker@gmail.com.
2. Our principles
- GDPR-first: we process the minimum data needed.
- EU hosting: data is stored on servers located in the EU.
- Anonymous by default: memories and guilt posts can be shared without an account.
- No third-party advertising trackers in the grief flows.
3. What we collect
- Account data (only if you create one): email and chosen display name.
- Content you share: memories, photos, audio, messages, replies. Marked anonymous if you choose so.
- Technical data: minimal server logs (IP, user agent, timestamp) kept for security and abuse prevention.
- Language preference: stored locally in your browser.
4. Lawful basis
We process data on the basis of your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), performance of the service you request (Art. 6(1)(b)), and our legitimate interest in keeping the platform safe (Art. 6(1)(f)).
5. Sharing
We do not sell your data. We do not share it with advertisers. We use a small number of EU-based processors for hosting and transactional email, bound by data-processing agreements.
6. Your rights
Under GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or port your personal data, and to withdraw consent at any time. You can also lodge a complaint with Datatilsynet (the Danish Data Protection Authority).
To exercise any of these rights, email narimanmohammedalisaker@gmail.com.
7. Retention
Account data is kept while your account is active and deleted within 30 days of closure. Anonymous community posts may remain on the memory wall unless you ask us to remove them.
8. Children
Savner dig is intended for adults (16+). We do not knowingly collect data from children under 16.
9. Changes
We will update this page when our practices change and adjust the "last updated" date above.
